Special Issue Information

Dear colleagues,

The pro-environment behaviors are the social as well as moral obligations for a person who belongs to any aspect of the society. Such behaviors are not only meant for the individuals of developing or underdeveloped societies rather for persons living in developed countries as well. The energy crisis is predicted to be worse in the coming years and it could affect the entire world directly and indirectly irrespective to any specific society. Therefore, it is expected from the working class, households, students, and other segments of human population to depict such energy saving behaviors like water, electricity, and natural resources. Due to the rapid growth of technology, the environment friendly products have become common in the recent years and their adoption is worth noticing and included in the scope of this special issue. Studies focusing on the process of adoption regarding the pro-environment goods as well as the assessment of human behaviors from social and psychological perspectives are welcome in this issue. In addition, interdisciplinary efforts in establishing the predictors of energy saving behaviors through strong theoretical reasonings among relatively new populations will be given a space in this special issue. The efforts from the underrepresented societies in mainstream environmental research would be appreciated in this call for submissions.

We welcome a diversity of articles, such as conceptual and empirical articles, reviews, critical comments, and meta-analyses, for submission to this Special Issue. We will accept manuscripts from different disciplines, addressing topics related to the scope.
